Out & About

Beaconsfield is an historic market town in the heart of Buckinghamshire and a great place to study and socialise.

There are excellent transport links; London Marylebone is 23 minutes by fast train, Heathrow is 25 minutes by taxi and the M40 motorway is 5 minutes away by car.

Two large supermarkets, Waitrose and Sainburys with an Argos in-store, cater for all your everyday needs. With a variety of cafes, bars and pubs on your doorstep, try grabbing a coffee at The Cape, or if you fancy a cocktail, head to The Saracen’s Head in the Old Town. There are plenty of amenities and convenience stores on the high street for all tastes and budgets.

The Chiltern Hills are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, rich in wildlife, rolling countryside and woodland walks. If you’re looking for a place to quench your thirst after a long walk, why not visit The Royal Standard of England, known as The Oldest Freehouse, nestled in the countryside just outside Beaconsfield serving a selection of local and European craft ales.

With so many options, where will you explore first!
